CONCEPT
Inspirational Notes are short articles intended to review the history and current status of a scientific concept, a technology or a product, in an easy language, oriented to a generic health scientific community.

 GUIDELINES
  • Submissions will be solicited by DDTR Editors and they will be signed by no more than 4 authors. Ideally, but not necessarily, the authors would have been involved in the development or application of the concept, technology or product. In the case of products and technologies it would be desirable that the articles are authored by at least one person from industry.
  • Submissions will not follow the peer-reviewing process of regular scientific and review manuscripts, however, they will be revised by a minimum of two DDTR Inspirational Notes editors or other DDTR editors.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
  • The article must contain less than 2,000 words (excluding references) and may include up to 3 Figures and a maximum number of 50 references.
  • The article should include a 150-word abstract, 3–5 bullet points highlighting specific points and a final conclusion section.
  • The main body of the article is free style. It should also include up to 5 keywords.
  • Authors must submit a brief biography (less than 70 words) and a good-quality photo.

 DISSEMINATION
The articles will be promoted using Springer Nature SharedIt tool. SharedIt provides links to view-only, full-text subscription research articles that can be posted anywhere - including on social media platforms, author websites, and in institutional repositories. The articles will also be free access for two months. In addition, they will be highlighted/featured in the Springer and CRS Webs. All of them will also be disseminated by DDTR Media tools.
