Poster format
As always, poster presentations will be at the heart of this year’s symposium. Two poster sessions will be held on Tuesday 4th June 2019, with all coffee and lunches held in proximity to the industrial exhibition and poster presentation area in order to facilitate discussions between delegates, exhibitors and presenters. The designated poster sessions will give delegates lots of time to not only read and discuss the posters with presenters, but also to help choose the posters worthy of prize awards. Please format your poster as A0 size, in portrait orientation.

A series of short talks by our industrial sponsors will take place at 2–3.30 pm Monday 3rd June.

Liverpool is served by two airports: Liverpool John Lennon Airport (airport code LPL) is the closest at 8 miles from the city centre, whereas Manchester Airport (airport code MAN) is actually located south of Manchester, around 30 miles away.
- Liverpool John Lennon Airport is eight miles from the city centre. Merseytravel (Liverpool's public transport authority) runs regular airport bus services between Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Liverpool One Bus Station in Liverpool city centre. Bus route numbers 500, 80A and 86A all travel between the city centre and the airport, and the airport stop is just outside the terminal doors; alternatively, buses 80A and 86A link the airport to Liverpool South Parkway Rail Station, which also services the city centre. Please check Merseytravel's website for the most up-to-date information, timetables, etc. ArrivaClick, an on-demand minibus service, also links the airport with the city centre; taxis/Uber are also available outside the airport terminal. The current fare is approximately £20 to most locations in the city centre.
- Manchester Airport is situated approximately 30 miles east of Liverpool City Centre, just south of Manchester. Liverpool city centre is easily accessible from Manchester airport by train, coach or car (more information here), with a journey time of approximately one hour.
Liverpool Lime Street Rail Station is well connected to the wider UK rail network. Please see www.thetrainline.com for further details.
For transport particularly in and around the city centre, we recommend the following local taxi firms. There is also a strong Uber service in Liverpool.
