Yvonne has been a lecturer at the Aston Pharmacy School since 2000. She previously worked as a pharmaceutical scientist at Lipoxen Limited. Yvonne obtained her degree in Pharmacy from Strathclyde and her PhD from the London School of Pharmacy. Her research interests include the design, physicochemical characterisation and development of viral and non-viral systems for gene delivery and the delivery of drugs, conventional and DNA vaccines and gene therapy using liposomes, niosomes and other novel surfactant based systems. Yvonne is also an editor of the CRS newsletter and a board member of the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
