CRS Certificate of Recognition
We were awarded once again with a Certificate of Recognition for our outstanding service to the Controlled Release Society. The certificate was presented to Dr. David Brayden by Jorg Kreuter and Jennifer Dressman at the 33nd Annual CRS Meeting in Miami this year.

Outreach & Education
As part of the UKICRS’s drive to extend our educational activities, we have created a new area on the UKICRS.org website dedicated to our Outreach & Education activities. Currently, you will find information on UK and Irish Schools of Pharmacy and the research they carry out in the areas of pharmaceutics and drug delivery.
Dr. David Brayden and Dr. Majella Lane are currently developing a core curriculum of topics for inclusion as part of an undergraduate drug delivery module. The CRS Education Committee has expressed their support for this initiative. Watch this space!
Farewell!
Susie Berrill (Patheon), Daniel Goodwin (Kings College London), Caitriona O’Driscoll (University College Cork), Lance Shaw, Neena Washington and Tom Li will be stepping down as UKICRS Committee members this year. We would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ for all their contributions to the UKICRS over the years and wish them the best of luck in their future pursuits. Professor Jayne Lawrence has kindly agreed to take over the position of UKICRS Treasurer from Dr. Susie Berrill.
Big Welcome!
Please join us in welcoming Dr Leab Sek (Pantheon) as a new member to the UKICRS Committee. More information on our new roster can be found on the UKICRS Committee webpage.
