Dr Leab Sek, PhD MRPharmS Leab is a Team Leader in the Formulation Development group at Patheon Uk Ltd. Her main role is developing drug delivery systems for new chemical entities and reformulation of marketed drugs for clinical studies. Prior to joining Patheon Uk Ltd in 2005, Leab was a Senior Development Scientist at Quay Pharmaceutical UK and Postdoctoral Scientist at Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, Australia. Leab completed her Pharmacy degree in 1994 and PhD in 2002 at Monash University, Australia. Her PhD investigated the development of an in vitro lipid digestion model for assessing bioavailability enhancing potential of oral lipid-based formulations. Leab has also worked as a hospital and community pharmacist in Australia and UK.
