Dr. David F Bain David graduated from The Robert Gordon University with a degree in Pharmacy in 1993 to return 1994 to complete a PhD researching biodegradable microspherical delivery of antitubercular drugs to the lung. Following a period lecturing Pharmaceutical Technology, he joined Quintiles in 2000 to head up the Formulation effort in Edinburgh, leaving in 2004 to join Merck Generics to set up a laboratory for Oral Controlled Release Systems based in Dublin. In 2005 David joined Colorcon to manage the modified release business in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
